Professor Maksymilian Kwiek from Department of Economics, Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Southampton, United Kingdom conducted Microeconomics classes for the Economics and Finance with the specialization in Economics programme financed by the NAWA STER project: Strenghtening the SGH Doctoral School's Position Within the Framework of the International Area of Doctoral Education for the academic year 2022/2023.

Professor Maksymilian Kwiek had made a declaration of intent to conduct 10 hours-long classes in English within the subject of Microeconomics coorginated by dr Miłosz Rojek.

The lectures took place from 3rd to 12th January 2023 and consisted of following issues:
Market power of the company, marginal cost mark-up (the Lerner index), strategic interactions in the oligopoly model, modeling strategic interactions using game theory, models of uncompetitive market structures; social choice, Arrow's impossibility theorem, social welfare function: utilitarian figure, Rawls and flexible functional figures, the Gibbard–Satterthwaite theorem.
